Gawaratj 2 Munuŋgurr Dis - F
Yes! These are the yidaki I like! Okay I like almost all of them, but instruments that just come straight from the bush without any form of processing on the inside testify to a specialist eye. This instrument by Garawatj #2 Munuŋgurr is one such instrument.
Other than bringing back some wood on the outside, this is a yidaki in its purest form.
And then it also has a super nice open sound and a mouth watering toot.
The back pressure is very nice and the sound is nicely balanced.
Gawaratj #2 is a Djapu man from Waṉḏawuy and is a ceremonial leader who takes care of his clan's estate country and is also a senior ranger.
