A particularly beautifully painted instrument by Marikuku.
The subject of this painting is Bonba. The butterfly that follows Mokuy's tracks during the day. Mokuy are the spirits that travel the landscape at night.
It is a nice playing instrument with a little more presence of the mid frequencies.
This makes the instrument clear and bright. A sound that is appreciated by Yolŋu so that they can accompany the dancers. The toot is also round and clearly present.
All in all a nice and tight instrument with a clear voice.
