Vintage mago by Roger Yillirama E - A

I did some more research on this instrument and apperently it is not a yiḏaki from the Dondji area. I got confirmed from a friend who bought a similar instrument from the same batch that it is, in fact, a mago made by Roger Yillirama  from Maningrida . After being collected and sold to the art collective Wallonia in the early 90’s it ended up in the basement of the AAMU (Aboriginal Art Museum Utrecht).
Just before the museum closed permanently I discovered them and added them to my shop.
A great vintage instrument to learn that mago style of playing.

The instrument has traces of stickers and tiny holes from old stapples. This was how the instruments where labled back then.
