A very balanced and lightweight instrument by Dhapa Ganambarr. The finishing is really well done, as we are used of Dhapa. His work is really consistent. His ability of finding the right trees and then work on them to bring out the best instrument is unmatched at the moment. The sound spectrum is on the brighter side. But it still has a good bass. The interval between the drone and trumpetsound is ideal for those who love the traditional use of the dup. It has a nice and round sound and can be played very rapidly.
A good allrounder with a bit of an Arnhemland feel.
