Larry Gurruwiwi Dis - G

A cool and lightweight yiḏaki by Larry Gurruwiwi.

The sound is open and full. The back pressure is somewhat lower than you would say for an instrument with these dimensions. Still, you can play a lot with pushing and pulling. The so-called 'push and pull' style within traditional playing.

And achieving high speed is also no problem for this instrument!

The advantage of this kind of 'open' instruments is that your voice, both low and high, is really well projected. The toot is easy to get and clearly present.

There is a small crack at the bottom of the bell. I have filled this with wood glue and it will certainly not cause any more problems. Of course I have adjusted the price a bit.

A really cool instrument!
