A super powerful, clear, and fast yiḏaki!

As is often the case with higher-pitched instruments, you'll need to build up some pressure. But once you get it going, you'll get a big, crisp sound.

Sharp overtones, clear vocals, yet still plenty of bass.

This instrument has a nice raw edge, a.k.a. "the Arnhemland growl."

On top of that, a clear and round first dup, which is easy to hit.

The painting is by one of my favorite artists: Djul'Djul Gurruwiwi. The wife of old Burrŋupurrŋu Wunuŋmurra, who used to make amazing instruments.

There are two yiḏaki depicted in ochres, surrounded by fantastically fine Minitji'.

All in all, an instrument for the true trad. head!
