With frequencies like this instrument, you can be sure the dancers can hear you from a few meters away.
Very strong in the midrange and clear in the highs.
You can't hide behind thick and muddy sub-frequencies. Everything you sing into the instrument is clearly audible!
The sacred and important painting is by Datjuluma Guyala and depicts the Yiŋapuŋapu. An ancestral ceremonial/burial site on the Maŋgalili land of Djarrakpi, on the northern part of Blue Mud Bay. As a bonus, I will include a copy of the Yiŋapuŋapu CD from the Mulka project archives with this instrument!
Unfortunately, the instrument has suffered a few thin hairline cracks, which I repaired with Captain Tolley's creeping glue. In principle, this should be sufficient. But of course, I can never give any guarantees...
Because I'm certainly not a good painter or restorer (my #1 go-to repair material is and always will be duct tape ;-))
I'll include four cups with ochre, so you can restore the painting yourself if desired.
Because of these cracks, I've also adjusted the price.
